I agree with your assessment of Optimus Primal personality type (ESTJ) as well as your assessment of his personality type (INTJ) in the previous sentence. I have realised that Optimus Primal is essentially a very similar character to Megatron. Both are very logical and rational characters. Optimus Primal is not as cold and calculating as Megatron, but he is as ruthless as Megatron. He is a well-adjusted character and he is also not a sociopath. He is less cold and calculating than Megatron, but he is just as ruthless as Megatron. And I think that even though he is much more rational than Megatron, he still has a big problem with his anger issues and his inability to control his temper. On the contrary, Megatron does not have any anger issues or any other emotional problems whatsoever. He is very pragmatic, like Optimus Primal, and he is also very rational. But unlike Optimus Primal, Megatron has no problem controlling his emotions. And I think that this difference makes Megatron a far better character than Optimus Primal.
