Lonely?
I have been married to my amazing husband Jim for 11 years. We have been together since I was 14 and he was 16. We have a wonderful 7 year old son and 2 beautiful daughters (ages 8 and 10) who we love very much. Jim and I are very happy together, but we both struggle with loneliness at times. We don't have any friends close by, no family in the area, and we have a lot of work to do to make our marriage stronger.
Jim works too much, and he is gone for long periods of time. When I'm home alone, I feel lonely. When Jim is gone, I become restless and bored. When we are both gone, I feel lonely and guilty for being alone. I don't know what to do about this. We don't have any friends or family in the area (we moved here from Texas), and we don't know anyone besides our children's teachers.
