Daiwa Scarlet personality type is ESTJ, which is the same as my husband's type. Thus, I consider myself a type that blends the two. I also see myself as a mix of the two. I have functions in my ESTJ personality that are not compatible with my ISFJ side. I have loved being a wife and mother, but I have also loved being an engineer, which is not compatible with being a wife and mother. So, I have often had to work each function to the max, combining the best of both worlds. I have found that this is very difficult for me, but with practice, I am getting better at it. I think it is important to note that the more you combine different functions into one type, the harder it becomes to identify which function is dominant in that blend. When it comes to relationships, I have often had to make compromises with the dominant functions of my partner. For example, I might have to be more ISFJ-like when I am with my husband. However, when I am alone or with other people, I am more ESTJ-like. This blending is also very common for romantic relationships.
