Muse - Black Holes and Revelations Personality Type, MBTI

Muse - Black Holes and Revelations personality type is INTP, which is neither as bad as the more widely known ISTP personality type (see James Bond as an example), nor as good as the more widely known ESTP personality type (see Indiana Jones as an example). James Bond and Indiana Jones are both INTPs, but they're quite different characters. This is the first time I've seen a writer use this personality type as a good example of a male character (with the exception of Sherlock Holmes and his brother Mycroft, who are both ISTPs). If this is supposed to be a compliment, I'd have to say it's a very odd compliment, because INTPs tend to be very shy and introverted, and even most ESTPs I've met tend to be more extroverted than INTPs. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen an INTP character that I found especially likable. This book has a good concept, but the execution of that concept is weak.
