As it begins with a harsh guitar riff, with anger expressed in the voice up to the verse after the chorus, where a hint of sadness seeps itself into the vocals before returning triumphantly to a guitar solo and one more chorus until the piece ends with the main character accepting the loss of their identity, fading into nothingness, through rejecting this notion of power and choosing to fade from memory rather than embracing the chaos; feeling trampled and bowing away. With its Orwellian lyrics and sound design, it manages to encapsulate this feeling of the loss of the self.
