The group released their debut album, Bills, in 2000, which spawned two hit singles, "Bootylicious" and "U Got It Bad", both of which reached the top five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The album sold over 1.7 million copies in the United States alone and won Best New Artist at the 2001 Soul Train Music Awards.
