Howard McGregor personality type is INTP, and the Myers-Briggs personality type is INFP. I do think, however, that it's possible for the individual to develop the traits of both types, and I think this is how I make sense of myself.
Essentially, I've never known how to feel about the whole thing (I don't know enough about it to form my own opinion), so I'm just going to say "I'm an INTP". That's what I'm comfortable with.
As for the argument that "I don't have any idea what being conservative is", well... this is basically the same argument that I have made in the past when people have asked me for my political affiliation. After all, what is "being white" or "being straight" or "being cis" or "being male" or "being Christian" or "being any other identity" when you're talking about being an individual?
I have no idea what being a conservative is. I believe in gay rights, but I don't know if I'm a liberal or a conservative. I believe in women's rights, but I'm not sure if I'm a liberal or a conservative.
