Nausicaa personality type is INFP, but she has a lot of characteristics of other types. Her combination of introverted and extroverted feelings (introverted feeling is also often called Fi) is rare.
In my experience, a lot of INFPs fit into the Nausicaa personality type—a lot of people who think they're INFPs don't. A lot of people who think they're INFPs aren't. The confusion stems from the fact that the Nausicaa personality type doesn't fit with the "Ni-Fe-Si" mnemonic that most MBTI people use to learn the functions of the Myers Briggs type. There's no "Si" in the Nausicaa personality type, and it's not a function at all.
Another common misconception is that Nausicaa is a "hard" personality type. People think that because Nausicaa is a bit more introverted than the other dominant introverted functions (Fe, Ti, Si), then it must be a "hard" personality type like INTJ or ISTJ.
But this is completely wrong.
