"We had been talking on the phone for two years, and I arranged for her to come to Seoul on my birthday, but she had to work that day, so she came the next day. We ended up ordering something to eat and spent the whole day together," he said.
The couple said they were attracted to the other by their different personalities.
"She's actually an introvert, but she's outgoing. She's very relaxed and easygoing, but she has many friends all over the world. I like that about her," he said.
While they say they don't conform to the stereotypes of Korea's traditional families, they are still very traditional when it comes to their wedding.
