While watching the show, she enjoyed it but did not like the idea of having to say things like "Engage" or "Hail" instead of "Hello!" (which was how she said it in real life, she said). But she loved the actors and the characters and the story line, and came up with the idea for the podcast to express her thoughts on the show.
A few days after the podcast launched, Catlin became interested in other podcasts. She also heard about the other Star Trek podcasts out there and thought that was something she wanted to do. "I thought, 'I could do that too!'" she said.
As to whether or not she will continue to produce the podcast in the future, Catlin said, "I love it so much, so I will do it as long as people want it.
