Christo Vladimirov Javacheff (1935 - 2020) became famous after joining the "Nouveau Réalisme" group founded by Pierre Restany and Yves Klein in Paris in 1960. Together with his wife Jeanne-Claude Denat de Guillebon (1935 - 2009) they realized wrapping actions on buildings and large-scale projects in landscape spaces, industrial objects, or well-known structures, such as the Pont Neuf in Paris (1985) and the Reichstag in Berlin (1995).
