When you're a kid, it's easy to be scared of the dark. I remember being scared to go to the bathroom at night, because what if there was a monster under the bed.

Now that I'm an adult, I can explore my fears a bit more, and take a look at "the dark". So what is the dark, really? To me it's just a place I can go to escape from reality.
In my mind, the dark is a place where I can be alone with my thoughts and ideas, where I can explore my thoughts and ideas. In short, it's a place where I can explore my own mind. This is not the kind of place that I would choose to live in everyday, but it's what I need to escape reality sometimes.
