Noid personality type is INTP, or, if you want to be strict, INFP. I am either a 7 or a 8, depending on whether I’m writing or not.
My personality type has a lot of similarities to Martin’s, even though I’m not an INFJ. I think it’s important to note that the key to being a good writer is not INTJ. While they have a lot of similar traits, they’re both too much in their heads, and don’t trust their instincts enough to just write, and get better. They need to take time to figure things out, and trust the process.
I think that people who say that INFJs can’t write because they’re so sensitive and emotional are just wrong. They’re the ones who need to trust their instincts more. And I think that what makes me a good writer is that I don’t care much about the story at all. I just want to tell it. I’m very naturally instinctual, and I think that I can do it. It’s just a matter of time and practice.
