    Guru Nanak
    ENFP

    ENFP (4w5)

Guru Nanak personality type is ENFP, and I'm a more practical and down-to-earth type of ENFP, so I don't think we're meant to be Si-Guru. But we can be Si-Guru-ish.

What is the difference between an ENFP and ENTP?

ENFPs and ENTPs are different. The main difference is that ENFPs are focused on the feelings and values, and ENTPs are focused on the facts and ideas. You can still be a good follower of a Guru without being an ENFP or ENTP. So, I don't think there's a specific type of Guru who's a better follower. It's more about the person you are as a person who follows a Guru.

I can't believe you've been doing this for 30 years now!

I started as a teenager, and I'm still going strong. I've been doing it for more than 30 years now. I guess it's because I have a very pragmatic approach to life – that's why I got into it – and I love being a hands-on teacher. When I started doing this, it was a way to motivate myself to stay with a project through the hard times.

Gurū Nānak, also referred to as Bābā Nānak, was the founder of Sikhism and is the first of the ten Sikh Gurus. His birth is celebrated worldwide as Guru Nanak Gurpurab on Katak Pooranmashi, i.e. October–November. Nanak is said to have travelled far and wide across Asia teaching people the message of ik onkar, who dwells in every one of his creations and constitutes the eternal Truth. With this concept, he would set up a unique spiritual, social, and political platform based on equality, fraternal love, goodness, and virtue. Nanak's words are registered in the form of 974 poetic hymns, or shabda, in the holy text of Sikhism, the Guru Granth Sahib, with some of the major prayers being the Japji Sahib; the Asa di Var; and the Sidh Gosht. It is part of Sikh religious belief that the spirit of Nanak's sanctity, divinity, and religious authority had descended upon each of the nine subsequent Gurus when the Guruship was devolved on to them.
