    Xunzi
    INTJ

    INTJ (1w9)

Xunzi personality type is INTJ, which is the rarest of all Myers-Briggs types. As the INTJ personality type is quite rare and I have zero experience with it, I have no idea how accurate this test is.

The author of this article also claims that this test is accurate enough to “guarantee” that you are an INTP or an INTJ, and that the test will give you a very high score.

I don’t know whether it is based on sound science or not, but I do think that you should be cautious before using a personality test to determine the type of personality you are. If the personality test is not backed by scientific evidence, it’s going to be hard to trust the results, and if you get a very high score on a test that is not backed by scientific evidence, you may end up with the wrong personality type.

One final note worth mentioning is that, according to the Myers-Briggs personality test website, their personality test was first published in 1985 and was actually developed by Isabel Briggs Myers and her mother Katharine Briggs. That’s a pretty long time ago.

Xunzi 荀子 (third century BCE) was a Confucian philosopher, sometimes reckoned as the third of the three great classical Confucians (after Confucius and Mencius). For most of imperial Chinese history, however, Xunzi was a bête noire who was typically cited as an example of a Confucian who went astray by rejecting Mencian convictions. Only in the last few decades has Xunzi been widely recognized as one of China’s greatest thinkers.
