Much like James Potter, Amicus' personality was a lot more difficult to pin down because he seemed to change so often. At first, he was very cold and aloof towards Lily Evans and James Potter. In the beginning of his time at Hogwarts, he seemed very confident and arrogant, casting snide remarks at people and not really caring about how they felt. He also was very sarcastic and witty, making rude jokes and comments at the expense of others, which would get him into trouble if he wasn't careful.
As the days went on, he became more and more frustrated with Lily and James. He was extremely jealous of James' friendship with Lily, and would often try to break up James and Lily's friendship by insulting or insulting Lily in front of her. Towards the end of his time at Hogwarts, Amicus became more and more bitter towards Lily, even trying to kill her.
Professor Amycus Carrow was a Dark Wizard, brother of Alecto Carrow and a Death Eater. Amycus fought in the First Wizarding War along with his sister. They did not search for Lord Voldemort after his first downfall but were forgiven after Voldemort's return in 1995 and joined the Death Eater ranks in the Second Wizarding War.
