What is the personality type of Percival Dumbledore? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Percival Dumbledore from Harry Potter Book Series and what is the personality traits.
Percival Dumbledore personality type is ESTJ, which is the same as Lord Voldemort. The ESTJ character's type and the shadow ESTJ's type are very different, as outlined in the previous section.
When you look at Percival's letter, you see that he addresses a former friend. The letter hints that Percival Dumbledore was a friend of the Harry Potter family. This is consistent with the shadow ESTJ's type.
Lord Voldemort is actually more ESTJ than the shadow Voldemort. In a way, he is like the shadow Voldemort in that he is an authority figure who enjoys power over others and wants to be the dominant personality. But Lord Voldemort is much more uninhibited in his use of power than the shadow Voldemort. Lord Voldemort is also more rational in his use of power than the shadow Voldemort. The shadow Voldemort is irrational in how he uses power when he has it.
I also find it interesting that Lord Voldemort is much more comfortable with his own power than Harry Potter is. He does not seem to feel a need to disassociate himself from his perceived status as the Dark Lord.
Percival Dumbledore was a wizard, the husband of Kendra Dumbledore and the father of Albus, Aberforth, and Ariana Dumbledore. After attacking three male Muggles who assaulted Ariana, he was sentenced to Azkaban. Percival died there sometime later after 1890. Many years later, his eldest son became the longest and most noted Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was considered by some as the greatest wizard of all time.
