When you look at Percival's letter, you see that he addresses a former friend. The letter hints that Percival Dumbledore was a friend of the Harry Potter family. This is consistent with the shadow ESTJ's type.

In a way, he is like the shadow Voldemort in that he is an authority figure who enjoys power over others and wants to be the dominant personality. Percival Dumbledore was a wizard, the husband of Kendra Dumbledore and the father of Albus, Aberforth, and Ariana Dumbledore. After attacking three male Muggles who assaulted Ariana, he was sentenced to Azkaban. Percival died there sometime later after 1890. Many years later, his eldest son became the longest and most noted Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was considered by some as the greatest wizard of all time.
