He also has a habit of being a little too strict for the likes of Harry Potter. He yells at Harry for not taking a note from Snape, and once he yells at a student for dropping a piece of parchment on the floor, even though it did not break. This is shown when he yells at Harry in front of the whole class for not having done his homework.
During the Third Task of the Triwizard Tournament, it is revealed that Professor Binns has always been afraid of dragons, and he has nightmares about them every night. However, he still knows how to be cautious when it comes to dealing with one.
