I don't know his full name. In online forums, he's often called by his nickname, "Takeo". I asked him to give me his real name, and he said he was going to call himself "Takeomi Akashi" for this book.
I love that. It's a great first name, too. Unlike most famous philosophers, he can say "I am Takeomi Akashi" without creating an expectation about what he'll be like as a thinker. He can be what he is without worrying about people's expectations about him as a thinker.
