Nicholas 'Nicky' Pearson personality type is INTP, which is one of two 'big' personality types.
In an interview with the Guardian in 2006, Pearson revealed that he had been diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. In 2007, Pearson won a lawsuit against the BBC following a case of bullying. His lawsuit led to the BBC's controversial decision to shut down production of The Big Blue, a show that featured Pearson and was produced by Aardman animation studios.
Pearson then starred in a 2008-9 TV series for Channel 4, which was cancelled after one series was broadcast. A second series of the show was broadcast in June 2009; this series was not shown on Channel 4, but on the digital channel Dave.
In February 2008 Pearson announced that he would be retiring from acting in order to spend more time on his autism charity, the National Autistic Society (NAS).
Since 2009, Pearson has written a weekly column for the News of the World and has also written for The Scotsman and The Daily Telegraph, and has published two books: The Odd Man: The Autistic Boy Who Changed History and The Autist: The Boy Who Lived Twice.
