Guy Martin personality type is ISTP, if this is true then it explains why I can get along with pretty much any type of personality. As for the "short temper", I've never had more than a mild frustration with people who do things like not follow instructions, or make stupid mistakes.
As for the "get along with any personality" part, if you want to get along with any type of person, you need to know what you're getting into. If you know that person, you can deal. But if you don't know them, then you'll end up frustrated.
I think ISTPs are pretty easy to get along with because they're usually fairly laid back and easy going. ISTP's are also very good at reading people, which can give them an advantage in any kind of job where you're working with people.
For the last post, I don't know where I got the idea that ISTPs are less "confident". I think it's just because ISTPs are so good at hiding their emotions, because they don't want to come off as looking weak or vulnerable. Also, because ISTPs are so good at hiding their emotions, they tend to be more timid than other personality types.
