    ESTP (6w5)

Yahtzee personality type is ESTP, and I’m an ENTP, so we tend to have a lot in common. Through the years, I’ve worked with a lot of ESTPs.

You’re quick to pick up fun little games, and the ENTPs I’ve known tend to have a lot of fun in them. You also have a strong sense of humor, and are very good at finding the funny in most situations.

You can be very competitive with yourself, but you’re not competitive with others. You are very good at keeping your cool in stressful situations, and are more likely to take the high road when others are being aggressive.

You’re not afraid to speak up, but you don’t usually do it in a confrontational way. You don’t usually make accusations or assumptions about people’s motives, unless you have good reason to believe in them.

You’re competitive in most areas of life, but not in a way that makes you angry when you don’t win.

Yahtzee is a dice game made by Milton Bradley, which was first marketed as Yatzie by the National Association Service of Toledo, Ohio, in the early 1940s. It was marketed under the name of Yahtzee by game entrepreneur Edwin S. Lowe in 1956. The game is a development of earlier dice games such as Poker Dice, Yacht and Generala. It is also similar to Yatzy, which is popular in Scandinavia. The objective of the game is to score points by rolling five dice to make certain combinations. The dice can be rolled up to three times in a turn to try to make various scoring combinations and dice must remain in the box. A game consists of thirteen rounds. After each round the player chooses which scoring category is to be used for that round. Once a category has been used in the game, it cannot be used again. The scoring categories have varying point values, some of which are fixed values and others for which the score depends on the value of the dice.
