When I first started reading about personality types I was surprised to learn that there are so many of them. However, after I started reading about them I thought it would be interesting to see which of the major types of people I know are among the people who have written books. I also wanted to know how many of the major types of people are among the people who have written books. To find out, I first grouped together all of the people who have ever written a book, regardless of when the book was published or who the author is. On that list are 523 ESTJ's. That's about 33% of all of the people who have ever written a book. That's not a huge number, but it's still quite a bit more than I would have guessed. I then looked at all of the people who had ever written a book and grouped them according to their major type. On my list were 553 ESTJ's, which is about 34% of all of the people who have ever written a book. ESTJ's come in all shapes and sizes.
