Fischer is a part of the band The Side Effects. He has been playing the guitar since he was eight years old and has been writing songs for several years. The band has been together for about three years and has just recently released an EP — “Election Day” — on Oct. 30.
Fischer explained that very little of what he does can be explained in a couple of sentences and that he and the rest of the band try to convey the meaning behind their music through their music. Their music can be described as alternative rock, but Fischer said he likes to take it back to what he calls “the good old days.”
“I like to think about what this band could be and what we could be,” Fischer said.
