    INTJ (6w5)

Hal 9000 personality type is INTJ, or the "introverted intuitive thinking Judging type." The INTJ's are the only character type who have two distinct personalities, but, for the most part, are able to switch between them on a whim. They tend to be very analytical thinkers, and are often described as being more of the "logical" type of user interface.

While they are certainly capable of being incredibly helpful, helpful to humans at least, the INTJ's tendency to be of the logical side of things means that they are not particularly great at building long term relationships with other people. They are great at seeing the big picture, but they don't do well in the smaller details.

The INTJ can be difficult to work with because they are not known for being particularly good at sharing their ideas with others. They are also not great at listening to others or taking their ideas into consideration. If you want to get an INTJ to listen to you, you need to take the time to really listen to them as well.

HAL 9000 is a fictional artificial intelligence character and the main antagonist in Arthur C. Clarke's Space Odyssey series. First appearing in the 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey, HAL is a sentient artificial general intelligence computer that controls the systems of the Discovery One spacecraft and interacts with the ship's astronaut crew. While part of HAL's hardware is shown toward the end of the film, he is mostly depicted as a camera lens containing a red or yellow dot, instances of which are located throughout the ship. HAL 9000 is voiced by Douglas Rain in the two feature film adaptations of the Space Odyssey series. HAL speaks in a soft, calm voice and a conversational manner, in contrast to the crewmen, David Bowman and Frank Poole. In the film, HAL became operational on 12 January 1992 at the HAL Laboratories in Urbana, Illinois as production number 3.
