Kael was born to parents who were very loving, but very poor. Because of their poverty, Kael's parents both worked very hard to provide for the family. They were always anxious that they were not able to give their children everything they wanted. Because of this, Kael grew up feeling like he was never good enough. Because of the way he was raised, he had no self-confidence and felt inferior to other people. He was never comfortable being around people and would often run away from them.
Kael learned to work hard and study hard in school, excelling at everything he did. He was a straight-A student, getting a scholarship to a private high school for grade school and a full scholarship to a private college for college. He had been accepted at all the prestigious colleges of his choice, but chose to enroll at a local community college instead. He had been there for only a semester when he was offered a job as a governess for a young boy who was the son of a rich man.
General Kael is the commander of the Nockmaar army and the secondary antagonist of Willow. He is sent by Queen Bavmorda to find the baby of the prophecy, Elora Danan. Played by Pat Roach.
