Tia personality type is INTP, so I ask him why he does not like the C. He says that he does not like the idea of controlling others. I ask him why he does not like the idea of controlling himself. He says he is his own person and he wants to control himself. I am like...okay, if you are your own person and you control yourself then what is the problem with controlling others? I tell him that the C is about the world and the Ti is about one's self (independently, not a slave to the world). He is really confused and doesn't know what to say, so we move on.
Later, after I have sat down in a different classroom, I see him walk by and say "hi". I say hi back and ask him how he is doing. He says that he is not doing well. I tell him that everyone has times when they are not doing well. Sometimes I would just need to sit down and do nothing for a while and that would bring me back to the right path and happiness again. He seems to understand this concept and said that he could do that and felt better.
