Vulture personality type is INTP, and he’s interesting, if not eccentric.
I had met him in person a couple of years back, during a trip I took to New York. Ari and I met up at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which was a nice place to meet. He was just finishing up a lecture there. We had coffee, and then we headed back to his hotel room. Ari shared that he had just been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
I asked him if he was taking it well. He said, “No, but I am what I am.” He was a very affable guy, and he had a lot of interesting things to say about the future of humanity and transhumanism. He also has written a book on the subject, which is called “The Transhumanist Wager: What If We’re Wrong?” He is fifty years old, but doesn’t look it. He’s a full-on geek, and he’s quick of wit. I don’t think he is going to die. He’s very strong-willed and determined.
