Most of the time, I think this is due to the fact that INTPs are more likely to be "geniuses" than INFPs are. This is because most geniuses are INTPs, and most people with these special skills are INTPs.
The other reason is that the INFP comes off as overly emotional. Some people can pull off this kind of behavior, but it's usually only possible for those who are very talented.
