There’s a lot to like about Ruby: I’m a fan of her writing talents and her consistency. She’s always had the same voice and style and I like that. She doesn’t back down on her beliefs and she’s always been willing to be bold and defiant against the status quo.
And then there’s the whole “big sister” thing. She’s one of my very best friends, and she’s always been there for me. I’ve known her since we were six years old and we shared a room in our house growing up, so we had this unspoken relationship that we both knew we were close to. We both had a crush on our little brother and we both liked him and we both knew he liked us back and we both knew he was only going to marry one of us, and we both knew it was going to be me. We knew what each other was thinking before we even thought it.
