Elsie Sloane personality type is INFP, which is one of the 16 Myers-Briggs types. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a psychometric assessment of human personality based on the writings of Carl Jung. It is most widely used for career counseling and personal development. Type is an important part of personality typing, which is a way of describing personality traits. The MBTI was developed from Jung’s theory on the human psyche, which he termed the “types.” Each personality type is one of the 16 types in the MBTI test. There are four dichotomies that Jung proposed: Extroversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuiting, Thinking/Feeling, and Judging/Perceiving. Each dichotomy is made up of four preferences: one preference for each of the four traits. For example, a person who is Introverted, Sensing, Thinking and Judging would be a Thinking type. Extroverts are Sensing types, Introverts are Feeling types, and Sensors are Thinking types.
