    Radagast the Brown
    INFP

    INFP (9w1)

Radagast the Brown personality type is INFP, which means that he's usually quiet, reserved, and somewhat introspective. He's easily misunderstood because of this, but he can be quite charming when he wants to be. He's not afraid to get personal, either.

He is often described as "odd" or "quirky" which is why he's got to be one of the most unique characters in the LOTR trilogy. He's also the only character to ever get a full song dedicated to him in the whole series.

He is also one of the only characters in the whole trilogy that was actually intended to be in the movie. His appearance in the early drafts of the screenplay was initially meant to be in Moria where he would be investigating the dragon smiths. It was only after his inclusion in the final script that the filmmakers realized they needed someone to play this role in Rivendell so they could get Galadriel's ring into the movie in the first place. This is why in the movie, he's in Moria when he should be in Rivendell.

Radagast the Brown is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium. A wizard and associate of Gandalf, he appears briefly in The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion, and Unfinished Tales. His role in Tolkien's writings is so slight that it has been described as a plot device, though scholars have noted his contribution to the evident paganism in Middle-earth. He played a more significant role in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit film series, where he was portrayed by Sylvester McCoy. Some aspects of his characterisation were invented for the films, but the core elements of his character - namely communing with animals, skill with herbs, and shamanistic ability to change his shape and colours - are all described in Tolkien's works. He is also a character in role-playing video games based on Tolkien's writings.
