I’m not a very social person, so I have very few friends. I have a few really close ones, but they’re all people I’ve known since childhood. Over time, I’ve started to make more connections through my career, and I’ve also had the chance to meet a lot more people as a result of various online communities.
I’m also not very good at talking to new people, so I don’t make many friends in real life either. I do like having new experiences, though, so I tend to be fairly open-minded. The downside is that I’m extremely stubborn and when I get an idea in my head, I like to hold firm to it. I’ve been known to be rather judgmental of others and I always want to know the “why” behind what someone does.
I am not very good at small talk or being social. If I feel comfortable, I’m fine with that, but if I feel out of place or uncomfortable, that takes over and I feel like I could either run away or start talking about myself.
