Pintel is a Russian anthropomorphic cat, who is seen in the game Spyro the Dragon, for the PS1 game Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon (2002). He is captured by the evil sorceress Malefor, and is used by her to try to capture Spyro. Pintel is also in Spyro: Ripto's Rage! (1998) and Spyro: Year of the Dragon (2002), but is not captured.
Pintel is voiced by Frank Welker, who also voiced Fred Jones (The Powerpuff Girls) and Megatron (Transformers Animated) and who also did the voice of several other characters in the Spyro series.

Pintel and Ragetti are recurring characters in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, primarily providing comic relief throughout each film. Pintel and Ragetti are portrayed by Lee Arenberg and Mackenzie Crook, respectively. Their first appearance occurred in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, when they served under Hector Barbossa upon the Black Pearl. Pintel and Ragetti, along with Barbossa and the crew of the Black Pearl, share in the Aztec curse and are immortal for the majority of the film. In the second film, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Pintel and Ragetti serve under Captain Jack Sparrow, again providing comic relief and additionally the occasional important insight into other characters. They join the ever-lengthening list of people who want the Dead Man's Chest, hoping to "remove temptation" from the other characters' path and make a profit themselves.
