Ch'en personality type is ESTJ, but my experience with ESTJ women is that I have not found them to be as confident or as domineering as the stereotype describes. They are frequently content to be the "supportive friend" to whom I turn for advice, rather than being the one who makes all the decisions. Often, they are excited about the fact that their interests are divergent from my own, just as they are excited that I have interests that they are not familiar with. They are excited to share my interests, even if they are initially at odds with their own.
I have found that relationships with ESTJ women tend to be more platonic than romantic — which is not to say that I don't love them, but because of their personality type, they tend to be more like friends than like romantic partners.
I do not find it difficult to be friends with an ESTJ woman. I can easily comfortably talk to them about anything and everything, about any interest I have, and they can do the same. I don't feel like I am being judged for anything I do or say, and they don't feel like they need to make me share my innermost thoughts and secrets with them (even though often they do).
