Silent Hill inspired me to make games. Silent Hill 2 had a massive impact on me. It had a lot of horror elements, but it also had the science fiction side of the game, which I love. It had heart, and it was a lot of fun to play. I loved the puzzles, and the horror elements were something new I was introduced to in video games, that's why they influenced me to make games.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, like many women in politics, has been subjected to sexism. Do you think this had an impact on how she played your game?
I'm unsure. I think Alexandria's personality is very strong. I think she's able to overcome the sexist comments she receives. She's strong enough to not let things get to her. She's not going to let it affect her while she's running for office.
What are your hopes for the game?
I hope that people will enjoy playing it, and that it will inspire people to think about their own lives.
