Silence personality type is INTP, and the most accurate description I’ve seen of their quiet, reserved personality is that they have “average social skills.”
You’ll find that the “standard” descriptions of how a particular type will try to fit in and get along are only valid for that type’s primary function. In my case, I am an INTP. But in my case, I don’t fit that “standard” description at all. In fact, I see myself as far off from that description.
I am a very social person. I love people and being around them. I love talking to new people, learning about their lives, and hearing their perspectives on what’s happening in the world. I love going to parties, meeting new people, and having conversations with those people.
I love getting to know what makes the other person tick and learning about their unique life experiences. But I don’t like that I have to spend time with other people. I don’t like having to do things that other people want me to do.
