What is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator?

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality assessment tool designed to help you determine your personality type.

The MBTI can help you gain a better understanding of your personality and how it impacts your daily life and relationships.

The MBTI has two scales: one for introverted and extroverted personality and the other for thinking and feeling personality.

The MBTI was created by Isabel Myers and Katherine Briggs, and first published in the book, "Myers-Briggs Type Indicator: A Guide to Psychological Type" in 1952.

    How does the MBTI work?

The MBTI is broken down into four quadrants: Introverted (I), Extroverted (E), Thinking (T), and Feeling (F). These quadrants are broken down into 16 categories, which are then grouped into four dichotomies:

    Introversion/Extroversion

    Sensing/Intuition

    Thinking/Feeling

    Judging/Perceiving
