He is a little more extroverted than I am, so we fit together well. He is also a little more intelligent, and we both like to read and study.
Our relationship evolved slightly differently than most relationships between INFJ and ENFP types. We were both long-term relationship types, and we had been together for five years at this point. We had no intention of getting married or having children. I thought he would leave me eventually, and I was okay with that. I wanted him to stay because I felt close to him, and I felt like he was a good person.
I was already aware of my INFJ personality type before we met, and I was aware of the potential of infidelity with him. I did not believe that he was going to cheat on me. He was not like other men in my past, and he did not fit the stereotype of the kind of guy who would cheat.
