Scraptrap personality type is ENTJ, and that he would be an excellent leader. He's not a good candidate for the job, because the old man's just a little bit nuts, and he doesn't care about human life. However, he does have a plan for getting all the souls out of the place. As we find out later, he's been planning for this for a long time.
So I go with the idea that this is a story about how the world can't take care of itself, and how we have to create an agency to do the job. He's the only one who has the mental stamina to stand and fight and win and defeat and create something the world (and the afterlife) can live in.
I like to tell stories that challenge me, and this is one of them. I didn't really expect it to be such an emotional story for me, and I'm glad it is.
I love the concept of the Scraptrap (the word is an acronym for Shadowcrumbling Rapture Engines). I like how it's a fun idea for a name. I like the idea of an afterlife where we don't get to keep our memories when we die.
