But because of their preference for abstract ideas and their strong logic, they can become discouraged by people who cannot understand that computers are only tools, and not the ultimate purpose of life.
The INTP personality type is often described as "the computer programmer" or "the computer geek." But this is not an accurate description. Computer programmers are usually "NT types," or "ENTPs," and programmers are almost never INTPs. The INTP personality type is the rarest of the sixteen Myers-Briggs personality types, and represents only 1% of the population.
