Iguin personality type is INTP, as I have already noted.
I’m not sure if this is a coincidence, but I think it is.
In the book, the author writes about a time when he was trying to get his daughter to go to school. The author, who is an INTP, did not want his daughter to become a doctor or a lawyer, but he wanted her to go to college. He wanted her to leave “the security of the family and go out into the world.”
The author stated that he considered sending her to medical school. He noted that it was a great career choice for an INTP. He also decided that his daughter should be an engineer. He noted that she might get bored with all the engineering she would learn and he didn’t want her to become a doctor. He liked that she could become an engineer because she could design and build things. He knew that she would probably want to be a teacher, but he didn’t want her to work with children in the classroom. He wanted her to work with animals in the zoo. I think he was afraid that she would become a psychologist.
