I am driven to get to the root of things, because I want them to make sense. As an INFJ, this drive is almost entirely focused on people. When I am stressed or upset, I long to understand why. I am under no illusions that this is the only reason that I am driven to get to the root of things, but it is a large part of why I am driven to do so.
My personality type is also driven to see the big picture, because it is the only way for me to judge what is happening in the world. As an INTJ, this drive is almost entirely focused on systems, on the way things are interconnected. When I am stressed or upset, I long to understand how things are interconnected.
