Foster the People personality type is INTP, who are notoriously bad at finding love.

“The INTJ is the type of person who's never had a girlfriend. It's not because they're not trying, but because they are so focused on being rational that they have no room for emotion,” says Billy Stern, an INTP writer. “This makes them very difficult to get along with, so they have no one to relate to.”

The INTP personality type is the rarest in the world of personality type, with just 1% of the population being identified as INTPs. They are known for being very logical people who are also emotionally reserved. They are driven by their minds and see the world around them with a scientific lens.

“Not only do the INTPs tend not to care much about their appearance, but they can't care less about what other people think of them either,” says Stern. “They tend to not even notice that people are looking at them or treating them differently, and they can be very hard to read.”

Foster the People is an American indie pop band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2009. It currently consists of lead vocalist Mark Foster, lead guitarist Sean Cimino and keyboardist Isom Innis. Foster founded the band in 2009 after spending several years in Los Angeles as a struggling musician and working as a commercial jingle writer. After Foster's song "Pumped Up Kicks" became a viral success in 2010, the group received a record deal from Startime International and gained a fanbase through small club shows and appearances at music festivals. After releasing their debut album Torches in May 2011, "Pumped Up Kicks" became a crossover hit on commercial radio in mid-2011 and eventually reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100. The record also featured the singles "Helena Beat" and "Don't Stop". The group received three Grammy Award nominations for Torches and "Pumped Up Kicks".
