Snakefinger personality type is INTP, or at least, the irony is close enough). But while the former is focused on the future, the latter is focused on the present, and while I am sure I've mentioned this before, I think it bears repeating: while the former has an appreciation for art, the latter has an appreciation for nature. Is it any wonder that my favorite character is Peeta?
Peeta is not an artist, but he is a nature lover. He loves the endless plains of grass, the rolling hills, the trees, the waterfalls. He loves that they are all so close together. He loves that they are all so beautiful. He loves that he can simply walk away from them all and be in a completely different world somewhere else.
The film did not really get to this point, but I did. When Peeta was being interviewed by Maysilee, he did not have to say anything, but did so anyway.
"I have always loved trees," Peeta said. "I loved their shape, loved their color, loved how they breathed and grew and changed. I loved their loss and their sadness when it came time to be cut down." He loved everything about them.
