The Se is dominant in the perceiving function, while the Ti is dominant in the judging function. When these two functions are in balance, there is a balance in the way a person processes information.
The ISTP is a clear thinking, concrete thinker. They are people who enjoy a logical explanation of things. They focus on details and facts rather than on feelings or ideas. When they are not using their Ti to analyse something, they are using their Se to gain information. They can also use their Ni to see what might be possible; it’s like seeing above the surface of things, rather than seeing deeply into them.
The ISTP is used to working with facts and logic. They like to be able to explain something clearly and succinctly. If someone is asking them for advice, they can often explain what they are trying to do far better than most people can.
They are not creative types. They don’t like to take risks, and they may come across as rather boring or unimaginative.
