    INTP

    INTP (5w4)

The Breeders personality type is INTP, which is much more common in women than in men. The INTP personality type is the rarest of all of the types, accounting for only 2.4 percent of the general population.

INTPs are known for their logical, rational approaches to life. They are often described as loners, but they are usually very social and can be great friends and allies.

They tend to be highly creative and original, and they often have excellent insights into other people and how they work and think. They also have a tendency to be obsessed with details and patterns and systems, which can sometimes cause them to become jaded and cynical.

They often have difficulty accepting authority and rules and tend to question authority more than most people do. They can be very independent, and they like to be able to do as they please.

INTPs tend to be introverts, but they can function well as extroverts as well. They typically don’t like the spotlight, however, and can become bored or frustrated with social gatherings that aren’t intellectual or creative in nature.

The Breeders are an American alternative rock band based in Dayton, Ohio, consisting of members Kim Deal, her twin sister Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Macpherson. The earliest incarnation of the band was formed by Kim Deal and Tanya Donelly in 1989 as a side-project alongside their full-time bands Pixies and Throwing Muses respectively. To record their debut album, 1990's Pod, Deal and Donelly recruited bassist Josephine Wiggs of The Perfect Disaster and drummer Britt Walford of Slint. Kim's sister Kelley was brought into the band as a third guitarist in 1992 to record the Safari EP, and shortly thereafter Tanya Donelly left to concentrate full-time on her own new band, Belly, leaving Kelley Deal as the sole lead guitarist, while Britt Walford left as well around the same time.
