ESTJ (XwX)
Oktober personality type is ESTJ, the first letter in the Russian alphabet. ESTJ is the "Big Brother" type, which is to say that they are responsible, self-controlled, and structured.
According to Renee Baron's book "The Enneagram Type" (page 152), ESTJ is the most common type among Russian women. This fits with my observation of my mother, who is an extremely well-balanced, rational, and strong individual. Her husband, my father, is an introvert and therefore not as well-balanced as my mother; however, her husband is also a very responsible individual, and is a leader in the church.
My mother had a brother (I'm not sure if she had any sisters) who was an ESTJ. At the time I wrote this article in 2004, he was a busy manager at the international food company Kraft Foods. He seemed to have an excellent job and he was able to provide for his family comfortably, but he enjoyed his work very much.
My father was a different case. He was not a well-balanced individual, and his work did not give him a lot of satisfaction. He was an introvert who spent most of his time alone in his office.
