In my case, the first thing to note is that I have a trinitarian worldview. I do not believe in an "outside God" as a personal entity, though I do believe that God is not just a single being, but is a whole family of persons. This is how I see God. The second thing to note is that I have a strong personality type. According to the Enneagram (and other personality types) this 9 has a personality that is dominant and one that is submissive (I know the Enneagram has some other possible combinations, but these are the ones that fit me best). This means that my personality is definitely in charge. I will also say that I am definitely a Christian, and am very much a "supernaturalist" in that sense. I believe strongly in the reality of God, and in some form of afterlife. My worldview strongly implies that there is a future after death, and God is not just the creator of the universe, but the creator and sustainer of all of it. This belief system gives me strong expectations about life, and therefore leads to a type of optimism about the future.
