Darlene is a mother of three and has spent her whole life trying to make a difference in people's lives. As a young girl, she was always interested in the civil rights movement but never thought that she had the potential to make a difference in the world. This changed when she became a mother. After having her first child, Darlene realized that she had been given a special gift. She soon found herself thrust into a job as a social worker and was later promoted to a social worker for the state department.
Darlene loves helping people and is very compassionate. This makes her a great social worker, but she does have a few faults, as well. Darlene can sometimes be stubborn and not as patient as she should be. She has a hard time understanding that not everyone is capable of understanding her work or her way of doing things. Because Darlene is so strong-willed, she sometimes can't understand why others can't respect her decisions.
